Heather's "spark" for last Friday was to make a card using patterned paper. This was easy cause I'm such a hoarder of patterned paper - I never throw a scrap piece away no matter how small! Full sheets, scrap pieces, it doesn't matter what size - you never know when you might need it <LOL>
I started with Stampin Up! brown and white stock and added a piece of patterned scrap paper and ribbon. The brown paper under the sentiment is actually the back side of the blue patterned paper.
The brown paper under the sentiment and the white paper under the blue are both distressed using Versa Magic's Chestnut Roan ink. The sentiment, a clear stamp I just purchased yesterday, is by Heidi Grace and is also stamped with the same ink. I'm not sure if it's the stamp or the stamper, but after looking at the image online I am not pleased at all with the look. Later today I will try it with another ink and see if it's any crisper.
Thanks for a fun challenge Heather!!
Supplies include: Stampin Up! Close to Cocoa and white card stock; scrap patterned paper and ribbon; sentiment stamp from Heidi Grace; Versa Magic's Chestnut Roan ink;
Well you certainly met her challenge well. That is very pretty. I have never seen that sentiment stamp before I like that.

Love the color combination. I think the soft/blurred look of the stamp makes it look very old-fashioned.
