I don't know which end of a bunny is the cutest - the end with the big floppy ears or the other end with the big fluffy tail! I do know that both ends and everything in between is just way too cute and cuddly <lol>
This bunny is the result of a card I saw online and immediately wanted to try my hand at making one of the little critters.
All you need is a circle punch and an oval punch. I used a large Fiskars circle punch for the bunny's body, and the small oval punch for his ears.
Once his ears were attached to the white circle, I gave him some eyes and then, the best part of all, the fluffy tail!! As you can see, it really just a white pom-pom, but I prefer to call them, "bunny butts"!
The bunny was attached to a section of craft card stock. At one end of this I tied a brown and a green A Muse ribbon. The flowers are buttons that were placed on the ends of stems that were hand drawn and then lightly tinted with a green marker. The DeNami "Happy Easter" sentiment was stamped with Memento Tuxedo black ink and this section was adhered to a piece of pale green card stock that was embossed with a Cuttlebug floral embossing folder. This layer was then taped to the base card, also made with the craft card stock. Last, but most definitely NOT least, the bunny was put in place on the lower front corner of the card.
This has got to be one of my most favorite cards that I've ever made!
Bunny Butts to go with the Daffodillys. Oh Me. that is the cutest thing I have ever seen. It is the favorite I've seen you make. I just bought some Kraft Paper on sale for 50 cents at Staples. And it was really what you call hand made, You don't have to have any special tools. I am going to cut these out and let my two little grand-daughters make their mother one for Easter. Now where did I put those pom poms I have stashed away from ten years ago?
