The challenge for this week was to make a card using various techniques on one card. Check out these creative cards...
Great job as always! Thanks for playing along with this week's challenge.
The weather here has been very rainy and cold - some places are supposed to get snow, some have already gotten snow, but I'm still waiting. Last time I checked it was 36 degrees and the rain was pouring down. If it would only drop a few more degrees we'd have snow!! I can wish, can't I??
The possibility of snow makes me think in shades of blue...
This card is two shades of blue with white. The base card is navy blue with a light blue strip through the middle. The top and bottom of this light blue strip was punched with the Fiskars snowflake embossing punch. A strip of white was adhered to the middle of the light blue strip and the sentiment was stamped on the left side. A Marvy giga punch was used to make a scalloped circle; the light blue was punched with a Fiskars large circle punch. The snowflake is the Martha Stewart snowflake punch. After punching the snowflake I then punched it out in a circle with the Fiskars medium circle punch. After everything was glued together I added clear twinkles to the snowflake for sparkle.
So there's tonight's challenge - to make a card in shades of blue! As always, anyone, anywhere can play along. When you finish your card, simply link to it in the comment section of this post.
