DeNami Easter chickies

Here's another sneak peek at a card that we will be making in the Pop Into Spring class this coming Sunday, February 15, Noon to 3 p.m. at One Little Spark...

 

This card features those uber cute DeNami chickies and lots of sparkly glitter! And you get to try out those must-have Copic markers on this card, too! How fun is that going to be??!!  Hop on over to the shop blog to find out more about the class.

Spring Flowers

Another sneak peek at a card from this upcoming weekend's Pop Into Spring card class at One Little Spark!! You're gonna love this one!!

This technique for making a folded flower is one that Heather taught me when she was here for the Copics class at the end of January.  Speaking of Heather, she's a little "under the weather" so if you get a chance, drop by her blog and give her some blog "feel better" vibes!

Now, let me show you the cute paper flower that you will be making for your card, using nothing but the neat Marvy Giga flower punch and the Scor-Pal ...

Spring is just around the corner

Or so it would seem with the temperatures we've been having the past few days! And the sunshine!! Can you believe it? It's been SO ubelievably nice! 

This is the type of weather that gets one in the mood to do something "Springy".  And that's exactly what you will be doing in the "Pop Into Spring" class at One Little Spark this weekend. 

Here's a sneak peek at one of the cards you will be making in class. This one was made using the Bunny Lessons and Bunny stamps from Inky Antics and lots of those delicious Copic markers ...

Saturday Night Challenge

Shelia was a great help this week when she agreed to host the Challenge.  Of course, when I read her challenge I couldn't imagine that anything I have posted could have inspired anyone to do anything<lol>  But, anyway, her challenge was to create something inspired by something I had posted on this blog over the past year.

I do not have a sample for this challenge - you see, Lee and I are in Virgina getting ready to attend a memorial service for a dear friend, and I failed to bring my external drive, which contained the photo for tonight's challenge. I will try to remember to post a picture when we return to NJ.

ATC Swap & A Muse Valentine Stamps

Today begins the first ever ATC Swap hosted by One Little Spark!! I know I said I would post the groups on February 1st, but obviously I missed the first *shaking head*  Can you believe all this time I thought today was the first day of February??? Maybe I'm subconciously trying to postpone my birthday *wink* You think???

The first group has been filled, but as you can see, we still need a few more people for the second group. When you check out Group #2 you will notice most of them are from Group #1.  Bless their hearts - they wanted to play in both groups!! Come on people, let's fill up Group #2!

Here's the rules...

Each person in a group will make 10 identical ATC cards. Mail your finished ATC cards to One Little Spark ( address below).  The ATC cards will be divided so each person gets back 10 DIFFERENT ATC cards, one from each person in the group. 

The finished ATCs need to be mailed to the shop by February 28th. Be sure to include your return address so the cards get back to you promptly. Remember, if you signed up for both groups, you will need to make 2 sets of 10 cards each and you will receive 2 sets of 10 cards!

1. The theme is the letter "O", so you need to incorporate that letter on your card.

2. Make sure the cards are 2 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches (finished size)

3. Please sign and number the back of each card.

4. Place cards in a zip-lock bag before putting them in the envelope

5. Mail completed cards and $2 for return postage to -  One Little Spark, 161 E. Main Street, Tuckerton, NJ 08087

Anyone, anywhere can participate in this swap, so let's get started!!!
