You saw the kit on One Little Spark's blog, now here's the entire mini album made with the Halloween Album kit ....
The album is white so the first thing I did was distress all the edges with Black Soot Distress ink. While my fingers were still pretty inky I thought it would be a good time to work on the tag..
The tag can be used as a journaling tag but I chose to use it on the cover. A small section was inked with Mustard Seed cause I knew, once the distressing was finished, I was going to stamp the Harvest Moon on it and I wanted the moon to be yellow. Other inks used were Antique Linen, Black Soot, Dusty Concord and Stormy Sky.
After the tag was complete it was time to assemble the album and choose the papers for the front and back covers plus the pages.
Once the tag was in place the orange ribbon was threaded through the buckle, which was cut using the new Memory Box Locina Buckle die.
The inside front cover and 1st page...
The word block was stamped and embossed in black using the Memory Box Vintage Halloween Words stamp. This word block square was then mounted on a square of black cardstock and lightly distressed with Black Soot. A picture or journal tag will slide behind this square.
Since this is a folder album, there are three pockets that hold pictures or journaling tags. I chose to make three coordinating tags on which to place photos and a little journaling.
A*Muse Studio die cut black birds "flying" in the corner of the 3rd page...
Memory Box Wrought Iron die cut fence and the Haunted Mansion house was stamped on page 4...
Page 5 - Spooky bats punched from black card stock...
Page 6 - Memory Box's Autumn Tree Landscape was stamped on a pocket that was formed with a 3" x 5 7/8" section of the same paper used to cover the page. I got so caught up with the dies and stamps I forgot to add the glitter to the moon!!!!!!!! Oh no! No glitter?? Somehow I have to go back and get glitter on that moon!
Back cover...
